About Me
I help founder-led businesses align their people, processes, and priorities.
About Casey
I got my start in business long before I ever had a title.
As a kid, our home phone doubled as the business line for my dad's company, so I learned customer service, message-taking, and call routing before I hit double digits. At the time, I had no idea those early experiences would shape the way I think about business, people, and communication. I just knew that every call mattered because there was a real person on the other end of the line.
For a long time, I thought I'd become a journalist. Instead, my path led me into communications, marketing, and eventually operations leadership. I graduated Cum Laude from Florida Gulf Coast University with a degree in Communications focused on Public Relations, along with minors in Literature and Interdisciplinary Studies. Looking back, that combination of storytelling, critical thinking, and human behavior ended up becoming the foundation for everything I do today.
My career has taken me through law firms, healthcare organizations, professional services, and luxury home services. Along the way, I noticed something interesting. Most businesses don't struggle because people don't care or because leadership lacks vision. They struggle because communication breaks down, systems stop supporting the people using them, and everyone becomes so busy working that they lose sight of what's actually happening.
That's where I found my lane.
I've spent more than a decade helping organizations align their people, processes, and customer experience. Sometimes that means rebuilding workflows. Sometimes it means improving accountability, implementing EOS, creating reporting systems, or helping leadership teams gain clarity around priorities. Most often, it means untangling complexity and creating a plan that people can actually execute.
I work best where marketing and operations collide. Marketing makes promises. Operations delivers on them. When those two functions are disconnected, businesses create frustration for employees and customers alike. When they work together, growth becomes sustainable, teams become more confident, and customer experiences improve dramatically.
Over the years, I've launched new divisions, improved retention, built training programs, developed dashboards, mapped customer journeys, and helped companies navigate significant growth. While I enjoy the systems side of business, what I enjoy most is helping people make sense of the chaos. Every process, scorecard, meeting cadence, or automation should ultimately serve the people behind it.
Today, through Byrus Communications, I work with founder-led businesses as a Fractional COO, strategic advisor, and operational problem solver. I help business owners identify what's holding them back, align their teams around a common vision, and build systems that support long-term growth. My goal isn't to create more process. It's to create more clarity.
I've been called "the queen of figure-it-out," and honestly, that's probably the most accurate professional title I've ever had. I love solving problems, connecting dots, asking questions others overlook, and helping businesses move from reactive to intentional.
When I'm not working, you'll usually find me at a baseball field coaching my kids' teams, teaching entrepreneurship and marketing to students, serving at church, reading, or helping my husband grow our family business. I live in Southwest Florida with my family and believe business should be challenging, but it shouldn't feel chaotic.
